SCORE is currently offering two workshop series.
Fundamentals of Non-Profit Management
What Every New (and Existing) Board Member Should Know
SC Lowcountry SCORE in conjunction with the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce and Beaufort County Human Services Alliance
will present this free workshop series for non-profit organizations.
This workshop series begins on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 5pm at the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce
and continues weekly through October 24th.

Note: All of these
workshops will be held from 5-7:00 pm,
at the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce.
For non-profit organizations, there is no cost to attend these workshops .
Each non-profit organization enrolling for the full series may send up to two (2) individuals to each of the seminars.
Enrollment is limited to 25 individuals for each seminar.
SCORE Workshop Leaders
SCORE counselors with experience in managing small and large businesses will be
leading these workshops and seminars. Attendees will be actively involved in
group discussion, with exercises focused specifically on starting a new

is that every business owner attending will have the opportunity to work
one-on-one with a SCORE mentor after the workshops end. Mentoring services are
free of charge and are available in Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort.

Simple Steps For Starting Your Business
One of our newest workshop series is our "Simple Steps For Starting Your Business".
It answers the question, "Can you make money at this business?" This is a quick
and inexpensive way to determine if you want to invest in starting that
business, before you make a major investment in time and money.
SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business, is a nonprofit
association dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs. We offer mentoring and
education with the formation, growth, and success of small businesses
nationwide. SCORE, founded in 1964, is a resource partner with the U.S.
Small Business Administration as well as a partner with the Chamber of
Commerce. Each year thousands of business clients are counseled and
helped at no charge.
