Chimers Charts™, Mary Scovel Inventor & Owner
Mary Scovel is the proud owner of Chimers Charts™,
a new busines in the SC Lowcountry.
With Chimers Charts™, you don't have to learn to read music, to play music.
This is a great music instructional aid for musical therapy, but it can be also used by anyone that wants to play music.
SCORE Business Client Awards
2009: LowCountry SCORE Business Client of the Year
AGC Gutter was recognized as the SCORE Business Client of the Yearfor 2009.
Steve Arnot, the owner of AGC Gutter Company, was presented the award
at a dinner hosted by SC Lowcountry SCORE at the Country Club of Hilton Head (December 5, 2009).
2009: SCORE Outstanding Veteran-owned Business Award: Killer Peaks, Port Royal, S.C.
Jonathan opened Killer Peaks
to focus on the history and future of skateboarding.
Relying solely on the support of local skateboarders, Killer Peaks gives back by holding free community events and clinics,
and helps maintain the local skateboard park through a network of volunteers.
Killer Peaks also sponsors a team that competes with other skateboard teams in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida,
and plans to expand to a tournament in California.
SCORE honored Jonathan Bekemeyer with the
Outstanding Veteran-owned Business Award
at a luncheon on September 17th, 2009 in Washington, DC.
2008: LowCountry SCORE Business Client of the Year
Killer Peaks, Port Royal, SC was recognized as the SCORE Business Client of the Year for 2008.
Jonathan Bekemeyer, the owner of Killer Peaks,
was presented the award at a dinner hosted by SC Lowcountry SCORE at the Country Club of Hilton Head (December 6, 2008).
SCORE Volunteers
2010: Paul Kopelcheck, Awarded The Highest SCORE Award For Volunteers
Paul Kopelcheck, a Hilton Head SCORE counselor, was awarded the Walter H. Channing Award of Excellence,
during a luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Resort on June 14th, 2010.
This is the highest award SCORE presents to its volunteers.
Since joining SCORE in Hilton Head in 1996,
Kopelcheck has taken on leadership roles with SCORE on the local, state and national levels.
As Chairmen of the Board with SCORE National, Paul was instrumental in moving SCORE to our new business model.
Over the course of the next five years, SCORE intends to create 1 million new jobs nationally.
